Though Jane Ellen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jane Ellen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John N. Teat and Martha Baker Teat. She is survived by: her husband Phillip Osborne; her sons, Shawn Smith (Angela), Kelly Smith (Jancy), Joseph Osborne (Staci), James Osborne (Elizabeth) and Jason Osborne (Amee); and her sister Carole Thornton (Bob). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gammage Funeral Home (106 N College St, Cedartown, GA 30125). A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Polk Memory Gardens (2245 Rockmart Hwy, Cedartown, GA 30125).
