With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Johnny Morrow Atkinson of Douglasville, Georgia, born in Ashburn, Georgia, who passed away on September 21, 2021 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Wilburn Atkinson and Bennie Livingston Atkinson. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette F. Atkinson; his children, Cindy Schaffer (Randy), Steve Atkinson (Angela), Michael Atkinson, Marie Nix, Donna (Scotty Folds) and Denice Johnson (David); and his cousins, Richard Brown and Walter Monty. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
