He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Georgene Evans Fricks; his children, Aubrey "Peanut" Fricks, Alesha Moody (Chris), Cory Dempsey (Kelly), Toni LaCroix (Kenneth) and Michael Dempsey; his grandchildren, K. J. Moody, Presley Edge, Preston Dempsey, Chelsea Wilson, Taylor Wilson, Brandon Wilson, Michael Dempsey, Jr., John C. Dempsey, John L. Dempsey and Hannah Dempsey; and his sister Jennifer Dempsey. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
