She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Long and Thora Vincent Long; her grandsons, Bradley Meherg and Donny Joe Fowler; and her great grandchild Joseph Fowler.

She is survived by: her children, Lydia Ann Meherg of Douglasville, Willie Marlow Fowler of Austell, James Roger (Gayla Fowler), Calvin Wayne Fowler of Villa Rica, Gene (Teresa Fowler) and Richard Earl (Tina Rene Fowler); and her sister Lucille Branch of Ocilla.
