She was predeceased by : her parents, Alvin Roach and Reba Roach; and her sister Doris Antrican. She is survived by : her husband Dr. Howard E. Lewis; her children, Maria L. Bartlett (Al) and John E. Lewis (Mary); and her grandchildren, Anna, Andrew, Charlie, Henry and Liam. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
