She is survived by: her former husband William Mitchell; her children, Carla Saulsberry, Cedric Mitchell and Phillip D. Mitchell; her stepdaughter Sylvia Hardeman; her grandchildren, Kellyreese Jordan (TJ), Isis Byrd, Alexander Byrd, Chenelo Anietkwu and Cedric Mitchell IV; her great grandchildren, Javon Byrd and Alexandria Byrd; her sister Julia Terry; her brother-in-law Elder Henry Terry; and her nieces, Teresa Hightower and Beverly Keaton.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Whitley Garner Funeral Home (8640 Rose Ave, Douglasville, GA 30134).
