He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ralph Higgenbottom and Esther Elizabeth Metcalf. He is survived by: his wife Caren Campbell Higgenbottom of Douglasville, Georgia; his son Carl; his daughter-in-law Leandra Higgenbottom of Douglasville, Georgia; his sister Patricia; and his brother-in-law Ron Thomas of Wedowee, Alabama. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
