She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton Ross Hallman and Laura Alice Causey Hallman; her son Timothy Shattles; and her siblings, Clinton Ross Hallman, Jr. and Alice Joyce Hallman.

She is survived by: her husband William Floyd Shattles, Sr.; her sons, David Allen Shattles (Pamela Anne) of Douglasville and Billy Shattles (Annette) of Douglasville; her daughter-in-law Wendy Shattles Summerfield (John) of Tallapossa; and her sisters, Luvodys O'Neal and Lynn Cone. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
