He is survived by: his wife Connie Newton; his stepchildren, Alan Kirkland of Carrollton, Christian Benjamin, Jr. (Ashley) of Villa Rica and Megan Haney (Jon) of St. Mary's; his brothers, Kelly Newton of Acworth and Jeff Newton of Alabama; and his pet Casper. He is also survived by 5 step-grandchildren.
