We are sad to announce that on August 29, 2021, at the age of 71, Tommy Chaffin of Douglasville, Georgia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Tommy Chaffin to pay them a last tribute.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Worthan Chaffin; his children, John Chaffin (Liz) of Atlanta, Luke Chaffin (Jeb) of Rome, Michelle Dennis (Kelly) of Winston and Monica Rainwater (Nathan) of Winston; his grandchildren, Poppy, Collier Chaffin, Macy Preston (Cody), Mackenzie Dennis, Addy and Grayson Rainwater; his great grandchildren, Graham and Harry Preston; and his siblings, Billy Chaffin (Heidi) of Germany, Johnny Chaffin (Vivian) of Escondido, Calif. and Joanne Dailey (Bob) of Sugar Hill. He is also survived by Many cousins, nephews, nieces and extended family.
The family respectfully requests that everyone in attendance wears a face mask.
In lieu of flowers, Tommy's family asks that you consider planting a tree in his memory or making a contribution to the William S. Davies Homeless Shelters (Rome), Douglas County Humane Society, the Patterson School Foundation, or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
