We are sad to announce that on May 20, 2022, Virginia L. Hardy of Douglasville, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jaruth Green and Opal Mckenney; her husband Clyde Hardy; her children, Janice McKerley and Donny Hardy; and her brothers, Terry McKenney and Seldon Green.

She is survived by: her brother Glenn; her sister-in-law Katrina McKenney; her grandchildren, Barry Carden, Tara Hardy, Valerie Eison (Alex), Susan Rossow and Joy Reding; and her great grandchildren, Dalton Carden, Dylan Carden and Brayden Eison. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of sending flowers can make a donation to First Baptist Church of Lithia Springs.

“I know this is a little late, but I just found out today about Mrs. Hardy's passing. My condolences to the Hardy family. She was one of my favorites! She was a patient of the clinic I work in and she lit up my day every time she came in. She always had a kind word, gave great advice when asked and shared wonderful stories with me. When I was expecting my first grandchild, Mrs. Hardy had a blanket made for her. I will miss her and her kind spirit. Sincerely, Sandra Wright”
