He was predeceased by: his parents, Wansa G. Williams, Sr. and Shirley Williams; his brother Welton Williams; and his granddaughter Mercedes Williams-Santiago. He is survived by: his wife Alizabeth Williams; his stepmother Goldie Marie Williams; his children, Skylar Williams-Parson, Regina Frank (Brian), Margaret Williams and Kimberly Williams; his stepchildren, Shonattay Wilson (Myra) and Shaleek Blackburn (Brian); his brothers, Anthony Williams (Alonda) and Rondey Williams (Sabrina); his stepsiblings, Leon Dunn (Rachel) and Linda Dunn; his siblings-in-law, Doris Wilson, Pat Campbell, Willa Jones (Gerard), Barbara Johnson (George) and Johnny Wilson (Jackie); and his cousin Willie Mae Williams. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
