With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William John Reamon Beaty of Douglasville, Georgia, who passed away on February 27, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Marvin Beaty and Gertrude Eloise Jennings Beaty; and his brother Dennis Beaty. He is survived by: his wife Molly Fouts Beaty; his children, William David Higgs (Tracy), Anna Beaty Jones (Jason) and Jessica Beaty Murray (Brian); his grandchildren, Sasha, Tyler, Jayden, Brody, Bennett, Ethan and Emma; and his siblings, Joan Moody, Beth Villalta (Sigi) and Ruffin Beaty.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that memorial contributions be made to the Central Baptist Church music program.

“I met Reamon eleven years after we moved-in one block over, on Yorktown; Reamon had started with the honey bees and we had that in common; we caught a swarm together that year (2018) in one of his pine trees behind his garden and in front of the goat; we talked shop about bees, and honey. Reamon talked about his family, how to make peanut brittle, and a bit about one of his favorite restaurants in Newnan. I didn't get to know him very well, but we liked him and we will miss him. - Barry Bolling”
