She was predeceased by : her parents, William Ruben Bennett and Roxie Leonard Bennett; her husband Rufus Eugene Prater, Sr.; and her son Rufus E. Prater, Jr.. She is survived by : her children, Willie Jean Brumbelow of Rockmart, GA, Patricia Ann (Mike Renova), Linda Sue (Ignacio Tapia), John Wess Prater of Carrollton, Wanda Jane (Franky Williams) and Hope Marie Prater of Douglasville. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren.
