He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Henry and Ruby Balchin Douglas; his wife Janet Stinson Douglas; his siblings, Elizabeth Douglas Bryant, Thelma Ruth Douglas Rogers and Sonny Douglas; and his great grandchild Joshua Lee Rowland.

He is survived by : his children, Tina Cote' (Joe) of Cumming, Leigh Coleman (Jeffery) of Cadwell and Saundra Porter of Dublin; his grandchildren, Briana Green, Janna Morton (Jackie), Ryleigh Coleman, Bobbi Gordon (Jeff), Shannon Hanson (Michelle), Nicole Maloney (Chris), Clint Coleman, Jeremy Coleman, Lilla Green and Layna Green; his great grandchild Alexis Wilson; and his great great grandchild Dash Wilson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
