He was predeceased by : his parents, Wanda Roberts and Homer C. Wise, Sr.; his sister Jeanie Wallace; and his son Homer C. Wise, III. He is survived by : his siblings, Cathy Wise and Jimmy Wise; his children, Rhonda Wise, Christina Wise and Jeff Odom; and his grandchildren, Rosa Seagraves, Joshua Roberts, John Wise, Jeffrey Odom, Michael Odom, Chelsea Odom and Ashley Braithwaite. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
