He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Knight Yates and Mary Francis Yates. He is survived by: his siblings, Patsy Yates Estes and Jackie Knight Yates; his siblings' children, Mandy Meadows (Scott), Ashley Jackson (Andy), Cristen Estes, Leslie Walden and T. J. Yates; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Trent Whaley (Hallie), Coleman Whaley, Katie Whaley, Gavin Walden, Ky Yates, Brayden Crowe, Ansley Jackson and Anna Charles Jackson; and also Knox.
