Florence Ford Fortenberry Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Florence Ford Fortenberry (Dunwoody, Georgia), who passed away on June 21, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Florence Ford and Burton Ford; her husband Bob; her sisters, Janet and Ann; and her great grandchild George.

She is survived by : her sons, James (Janet), Scott and Steve (Anne); her grandchildren, Erin (Mark), Ben (Julie), Sara, Lucy and Joe; her brother-in-law Don (Kaye); and also, Charlotte, Caroline, Nathan, Will and Luke. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any remembrances be made to the DUMC Youth Ministry or the George Fortenberry Memorial Fund at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
