She was loved and cherished by many people including : her father Henry W. Heist; her husband James E. Gilmer (Jim); her siblings, Ruth Heist King, Nancy Heist Wendt and Harry W. Heist; her son Jim Gilmer, Jr. (Lia) of Brookhaven, GA.; her grandsons, Jamie Gilmer (Becca) of Seneca, SC, Robert Gilmer (Shanna) of Columbia, SC and Billy Gilmer of Shawnee, OK.; and her great grandchildren, Tinsley, Sam, Carson and Andrew. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
