It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Westmoreland Rice of DuPont, Georgia, born in Copperhill, Tennessee, who passed away on August 18, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Westmoreland and Mamie Ferguson Westmoreland; and her brothers, Jake Westmoreland, Charles Westmoreland and John Westmoreland.
She is survived by: her husband Billy Richard Rice, Sr. of Dupont; her children, Debbie Strickland (Mike) of Homerville, Donna Culbreth (Lex) of Valdosta and Billy Rice (Dawn) of Homerville; her grandchildren, Brice Denmark (Jennifer) of Thomasville, GA, Brett Denmark (Taylor Denmark), Mills Culbreth (Max Culbreth) and Payton Rice (Channing Rice); her great grandchildren, Tate, Brickson, Kayden, Dax, Anniston, Parker and Dane Denmark; and her siblings, Marilyn Smith of Lake Park, GA, Leroy Westmoreland of Valdosta and Kenneth Westmoreland, Sr. (Donna) of Cartersville, GA. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
