She was predeceased by: her parents, David Howell and Pauline Johnson Howell; her husband Gerald Smallwood; her sisters, Cleo Bullard, Grace Evans and Ester Evans; her brother-in-law Cleon Evans; and her granddaughter Jessica McCoy.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Myra Warren (Robert), Anita Parrish and Pamela Wilkins (David); and her great grandchildren, Wesley Warren, Jennifer Wilkins, Ryan Parrish (Sara), Kirstie Walker (Josh), Megan Williams (Justin) and Heather Wynn (Elmo).
