It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edna Barnette Long (East Point, Georgia), born in Stearns, Kentucky, who passed away on April 9, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert G. Long (Bob). She is survived by: her children, Chet Long (Laurie), Leslie Merriman (Robin), Brynne Blalock (Duane), Robbie Long (Nikki) and Greg Long (Gail); her brother Dick; and her sisters-in-law, Beth Wooten, Judy Ferm and Sue Leithner. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial celebration will be held at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City, GA, date TBD after COVID19 social distancing is lifted.
The family encourages donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Georgia in Edna's memory.
