He is survived by: his wife Beverly Jean Wheeler (Browning); his children, James Daniel Wheeler (Debra), Carlton Alan Wheeler and Lori Lynn Wheeler (Scott Bertrand); his granddaughters, Anna Danielle Smith (Rhett) and Abigail Dane Wheeler; and his sister Carolyn Wheeler Redding.
