He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carrie McBride and Watson Batty; his grandfather Matthew McBride; his wife Ruth Sutton of Savannah; his sister Cora Gay of Louisville; his children, Michael, Zanthia McBride-Spence (Stanston) and Victor (Lutchie); his grandchildren, Erasto McBride, Jonathan McBride (Kellee), Robert Spence, Reneé Spence, Randall Spence, Thomas McBride and Rachel McBride; and his great grandchildren, Amira McBride, Jace McBride, Christian McBride, Jiyah McBride and Bailey McBride. He was also cherished by many nephews and nieces.
