He is survived by : his children, Monica Hughes Gibson (Nick) and Sam; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Hughes; his grandson Payton Ryan Gibson; and his siblings, Dale Hughes, Jimmy Metcalf and Linda Wilson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
