He was predeceased by: his parents, Waymond Earl and Leacy Bell Davis Bonds; and his sister Patricia Ann Raines. He is survived by: his siblings, Earl Bonds, Allen Bonds, Joel, Virgil "Buck" Segars (Angela), Lona Summers and Gail Segars Medina; and his stepson Caleb Swillings. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Bonds' memory to the V.F.W. Local Post, 1004 Calhoun Falls Hwy., Elberton, GA 30635.
