She was predeceased by: her parents, Gifford Julian Rucker and Annie Venolia Rice Rucker; and her siblings, Willis Harper Rucker and George Dixon Rucker. She is survived by: her nephew Chris Harrison of Elberton; and her significant other Puppy John. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, and friends.
