We are sad to announce that on November 4, 2018, at the age of 87, Betty Herring Lester (Elberton, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Vanavora Gary; her brother Joe Bruce Fortson; and her nephews, Wendell Fortson and Gary Fortson. She is survived by: her parent Daisy Reese Martin Herring; her daughter Sydonna L. Harden; her son-in-law Lou Harden of Elberton; her great grandchildren, Chelsea Rutherford (Thomas Whitehead), Trey Rutherford (Nicole Mandato), Maddie Rutherford, Reece Rutherford, Aryssa Andrews, Emalise Andrews and Ian Andrews; her niece Wanda Campbell; and also Mamie Perrin.
