She was predeceased by: her husband Bertram DeWitt Jones; her parents, Woodfin Guy Stratton and Myra Belle Gingles Stratton; her son-in-law Doug Mauldin; her sister Ima Nell; and her brother-in-law Jack Haynie.
She is survived by: her children, Gail (George Byrum), Charles "Buddy" (Virginia Case), Jan Mauldin of Hartwell and Tim (Pat Case). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and seven-great-great-grandchildren.
Flowers are accepted and contributions may be made in her memory to Vans Creek Baptist Church.
