He was predeceased by: his parent Joseph Aubra Moon; and his siblings, Horace Moon, Christine Brock, Juanita Osborne and Roberta Moon.
He is survived by: his parent Ruby Thelma Yeargin Moon; his wife Linda; his sons, Carl Joseph Moon (Leslie) of Bowman and Wesley Lewis Moon (Julie) of Elberton; his grandchildren, Joshua Thomas Buffone and Lynzee Summer Smith; his great grandchildren, Carson Lee Massey and Zariah Wynter Smith; and his siblings, Barbra Jean Moon, Paul Gabriel of Talking Rock, Raymond Moon, Sara Moon of Elberton, Sue Vickery and Joyce Mills. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
