With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carlton Neal Mills Sr. of Elberton, Georgia, born in Winter Haven, Florida, who passed away on December 18, 2020 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lee Mills, Sr. and Alice Kitchens Mills; and his brothers, Roy Mills, James Mills and Walter Mills.
He is survived by: his spouse LaVerne Anderson Mills; his children, Denise Mills (Tom Troszak) of Asheville, NC and Carlton Neal Mills, Jr. (Rhonda) of Gray, GA; his grandchildren, Drew Mills of Forest City, NC, Brent Mills (Lauren) of Gray, GA, Hannah Mills of Gray, GA, Forrest Kelly (Delaney Rae) of Barnardsville, NC and Michelle Troszak of Asheville, NC; and his great grandchild Harper Mills of Gray, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
