He was predeceased by: his parent Robert Emile Goss; his wives, Nell Moon Goss and Margaret Sherlin Campbell Goss; his son Jim Thompson; and his brother George Goss.
He is survived by: his parent Lillie Amarintha Maxwell Goss; his children, Kim Goss Scoggins (Greg) of Carlton, Tim Goss (Susan) of Clarkesville and Linda Root of Indiana; and his sisters, Jackie Harris of Bowman and Marilene Moon (Kenneth) of Toccoa.
