She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlin F. Norman and Hilda Norman; her husband Thomas F. Poss; her son Michael S. Bradford Poss; and her grandson Thomas Taylor B. Fort.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela P. Norman (Bob) of Lincolnton, Lisa P. Fort (Allen) of Greensboro, Sheila P. Callahan (Kent) of Vidalia and Lance N. Poss (Cindy) of Augusta; and her siblings, Linda W. Anthony (Gene) of Washington and Nelson N. Walker of Roswell. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
