She was predeceased by: her former husbands, Harold W. Taylor, Sr. and James Carter; and her brothers, Howard "Bud" Chase, Jr. and Harold Chase. She is survived by: her children-in-law, JoAnn Gunter, Greg Gunter of Elberton, GA, Carol Ward, Steve Ward of Wilbur, WA and Harold Jr; and also, Cathy Taylor, Jr. of Elberton, GA, John Edgar of Manzanita, OR and Darrell Edgar of Brooksville, FL. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
