It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Heard (Elberton, Georgia), who passed away on January 31, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Emma Jean Pittard, Walter Heard, Stanley Heard and Sylvester Heard; and her sisters, Hattie Dora Bradford, Lenora Dubose, Zola Mae Howard and Addie Ree Heard. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
