He is survived by: his wife Virginia Dell "Jenny" Payton Dixon; his daughter Patsy Dixon Wood; his grandchildren, Holly Smith, Derek Wood and Trent Wood; his great grandchildren, Lexie Smith, Mason Smith, Hayden Wood and Kaden Wood; and his close friend Billy Boggs.
