He was predeceased by: his parent Ace Johnson; his daughter Tracy Partain; and his sister Carolyn Johnson. He is survived by: his parent Mary Bonds Johnson; his wife Brenda Faye Sharping Johnson of Elberton; his daughters, Donna Johnson of Elberton, Robin Michelle Smith of Calhoun Falls, SC and Amanda Johnson of Elberton; and his grandchildren, Trey Nelson, Robin McMurtry, Beth Hagood, Travis Smith, Lee Smith, Beth Smith, Teela Partain and Manuel Partain, Jr.. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren and two sisters.
