He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Rousey Thomason; his daughter Beth Thomason Lakis; and his sisters, Dee Rousey and Judy Dickerson Bridges. He is survived by: his daughter Margie Thomason Milner; his brother Harley Thomason; his son-in-law Dave Lakis; his grandchildren, Emily Milner Smith (Troy), Mark Milner, Hannah Lakis Block (Nathan) and Meredith Lakis; his great grandchildren, Brennyn, Cade and Holden Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Henry Rousey (Barb) and Susan Sexton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family.
It is suggested that contributions be made to the Goss Baptist Church, Elberton First Baptist Church ROC Fund, Or VFW Post 5456 of Elberton.
