He is survived by: his son James Forrest "Jim" Patterson (Shirley); his grandchildren, Wesley James Patterson of Elberton and Megan Grace Patterson of Elberton; his brother Robert; and his sister-in-law Annette Patterson of Tracy City, TN. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
