She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Lee and Lillie Cantrell Deal; her spouse Azel M. Ray; and her grandson Greg Whitfield. She is survived by: her children, Calvin Ray of Vanna, Judy Ray of Elberton, David Ray (Barbara) of Lavonia, Nancy Ashworth of Vanna and Dina Stovall (Jack) of Elberton; and her grandchildren, Clint Bowen, Susan Carroll, Shane Ellison, David Ellison, Melissa Parker, Johnny Ray and Joni Cox.
