He is survived by: his parents, RoyBert Ray and Johnnie Smith Ray; his children, Jerry Shane Ray of Flowery Branch, GA and Terri Ray of Athens, GA; his siblings, Judy Hudson of Lawrenceville, GA and Charles Ray of Gray, GA; his grandchild Austin Ray; his siblings' child Peachtree St; and his close friend Ann Anderson Brown.
