It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Evans of Elberton, Georgia, who passed away on November 26, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Alice T. Evans; and his siblings, Juanita E. Roberson and E. Samuel Evans. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lynn Eavenson Evans; his children, Rock Evans (Laura) and Rhonda Gunter (Scott); his stepdaughter Lynn Hernandez (Terry Bryant) of Elberton; his grandchildren, Cody Gunter, Clint Gunter (Ande), Brad Evans, Morgan Evans, Maria Hernandez and Victoria Hernandez; his great grandchild Birdie Rae Gunter; his siblings, Bobby Evans (Janice), Wilbur Evans (Bertie Faye), Doug Evans, William Wayne Evans (Marie), Frances Ware, Donna Sue Bolton, Nikki Evans and Millie Faye Trammell; and his siblings-in-law, Alden Roberson and Sheryl Evans.
