As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Jimmy Hughes may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Lewis Bradford and Anna Mae Dixon Bradford; and his siblings, Edna Mae Goodwin, Mattie Jo Vaughn and Ben Mattox Bradford.

He is survived by : his wife Johnnie Louise Waters Bradford; and his daughters, Beverly Wilson and Lori Bradford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Viewing was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Berry Funeral Home (1265 Washington Hwy, Elberton, GA 30635). A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Forest Hills Memorial Park (1642 Washington Hwy, Elberton, GA 30635).
