It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise Lovinggood Smith of Elberton, Georgia, who passed away on November 12, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Lovinggood and Louise Turner Lovinggood; her husband J. A. Smith, Sr.; her siblings, Elmer Lovinggood, Kathleen Reed and JoNell McIntosh; her children, J. A. Smith, Jr., Jimmy Smith and Hilda Hammock; and her daughter-in-law Priscilla Broadwell Smith.
She is survived by: her daughter Freida; her son-in-law Buck Moore; her grandchildren, Quinn, Tammy Floyd, Jerrie Floyd, John Smith, Michael Hammock, Lee, Candace Hammock, Melanie, Clif Dye, Julie, Timmy Adams, Chuck and Crystal Moore; and her siblings, Starke Lovinggood (Joan) of Gainesville and Martha Anne Moore of Havanna, FL. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
