It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mattie Williams of Elberton, Georgia, who passed away on September 14, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her children, Larry Ashmore, Rex Allen, Barbara Walton, Charles Allen Sr., James H. Allen and Sara E. Allen. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
