Miriam Sorrow Brooks Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Miriam Sorrow Brooks (Elberton, Georgia), born in Oglethorpe, Georgia, who passed away on April 15, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lewis Gene Brooks; her parents, Henry N. Sorrow and Mary Estelle; and her siblings, Geneva Moore, Mary Lou Harris, Annie Sorrow, Henry Taylor Sorrow, William Thomas Sorrow, Quinton Sorrow and Harvey Sorrow.
She is survived by: her sons, Ed (Valerie Brooks) and Mike (Ivy Brooks); and her sister Nancy Sorrow Harwell of Fayetteville, GA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
