She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband James Roger "Jimmy" Bowie, Sr.; her parents, Boyce Bryant and Vivian Poole Bryant; her grandmother Football; her children, Rod, Sherri Bowie of Elberton, Rebecca and Walter Hash of Myrtle Beach, SC; her grandchildren, Sommer (Chris Morris), Samantha (Cody Lester), Jessica (JBen Hardman), Matt (Jessica Mason), Specialist Evan Bowie and Maggee Bowie; her great grandchildren, Grayson and Lawson Morris; her daughter Tracy Bowie Mason; and her sister Faye McCurry.
