He was predeceased by: his parents, Louvilla Rucker and Ruby Jo Oliver Rucker; and his son David Rucker. He is survived by: his children, Leon Rucker and Tammy Smith; and his siblings, Sandra Bolton of Elberton, Martha Tate of Elberton, Betty White of Elberton, Perry "Ricky" Rucker of Elberton and Cobolea Porter (Stalin) of Bowman.
