He was predeceased by: his parent Tommy Eugene; and his siblings, Gail Brown of Starr, SC and Larry Phillips of Williamston, SC. He is survived by: his parent Evelyn Shaw Vaughn; and his daughters, Samantha Massey (Jonathan) of Elberton and Constance Jacobs. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
