He was predeceased by: his parents, Dalton Webb and Mary Fortson Webb; his son-in-law George Kramer Dye; and his siblings, Hazel Almond, William Webb, Lowell Webb, Neil Webb, Maurice Webb and Bailey Webb.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Smith Webb; his children, Julia Leigh Webb Dye (Terry Mills) of Elberton and Walter Chester Webb, Jr. (Deanna); his grandchildren, Madison Taylor Webb, Hunter Thomas Webb and Parker Ryan Webb; and his siblings, Linda Banks (Marion) and Johnny Webb.
